Мой Киев — Музей «Чернобыль»

Экспозиция музея «Чернобыль» рассказывает о крупнейшей в истории атомной энергетики катастрофе — аварии на четвертом энергоблоке Чернобыльской атомной электростанции в апреле 1986 года. В музее собрано около 7000 экспонатов — это рассекреченные документы, карты, фотографии, предметы этнической культуры, личные вещи участников ликвидации аварии.

Открытие музея Чернобыля состоялось 26 апреля 1992 года, и было приурочено к 5-ой годовщине аварии. Экспозиция музея в современном объеме появилась не сразу, а собиралось постепенно в связи с тем что информация об аварии, ее причинах и следствиях была засекречена, а участники события не могли говорит правду. Многое из того что представлено в музее было опубликовано впервые — документы, карты с грифом «Секретно», фотографии.

Над входом в музей посетителей встречают слова «Est dolendi modus, non est timendi» (Есть предел у печали, но нет его у тревоги). Далее посетители видят шлагбаум с тревожно мигающими огоньками, он открывает вход на чернобыльскую дорогу. Символическая Чернобыльская дорога это лестница ведущая к главному залу музея, вдоль которой над головами посетителей висят дорожные указатели с названиями 76 городов и сел Украины из зоны отселения, которые стерты с лица земли радиацией.

С чернобыльской дороги посетители попадают в первый зал экспозиции, пол в нем сделан в виде плиты биологической защиты главного реакторного зала. В центре зала установлен иконостас, фрагменты которого были привезены научными сотрудниками музея из Воскресенского храма находящегося в Зоне отчуждения. Под покровом иконостаса вместо купели качается полесская лодка — символ Ноева ковчега, а в ней детские игрушки оставленные посетителями музея. Рядом с иконостасом стоят 3 фигуры ликвидаторов в защитных костюмах и респираторах. Над иконостасом распростерли свои крылья два ангела: белый и черный, добро и зло . Под крыльями белого ангела, будто под его защитой — портреты детей, родившихся после катастрофы, на крыльях черного — фотографии из новейшей истории последних 70 лет. Потолок зала выполнен в виде символической карты мира, на которой тревожными огоньками мигают атомные электростанции, расположенные на всех континентах Земли. Па стенах зала выставка социальных плакатов посвященных ядерной тематике.

В музее можно посмотреть уникальные видеоматериалы о катастрофе и ее последствиях, увидеть действующий макет энергоблока ЧАЭС, работающую трехфазовую диораму «Чернобыльская АЭС до, во время и после аварии» — показано как происходил взрыв, разрушения атомной станции в его следствии, и постройка саркофага над разрушенным блоком.

Экспозиция залов музея рассказывает про героическую и самоотверженную работу людей многих профессий — гражданских и военных специалистов по ликвидации последствий чернобыльской аварии. В 98 году в музее появилась электронная книга памяти участников ликвидации аварии с более чем 5 тыс. именами ликвидаторов.

За годы существования музея Чернобыля его посетили представители более 80 стран мира. Среди них Президенты нашей и других стран, Миссия ООН во главе с Генеральным Секретарем Кофи Аннаном, Президент ОБСЕ Адриан Северин и другие.
